Labyrinth

The Labyrinth

dsc_6999-edit_2

The design of St. Martin’s labyrinth was drawn up by world renowned labyrinth designer, Robert Ferré.  It is the “Chartres Pattern” just over 42 feet in diameter with 11 circuits and the design that is in Grace Cathedral. Made of concrete and granite resin, it is a permanent and magnificent structure on our church grounds. It is designed to enhance spiritual lives by encouraging meditation, contemplation, peace, and healing. The labyrinth can be used by children, the youth group, healing ministries, university students, workshop and retreat participants, patients of the neighboring medical/dental building, and the community at large.

Construction of the Labyrinth was completed in November 2009 by Robert Ferré with St. Martin volunteers.
