Food and Pharmaceutical Resources in Davis and Woodland

Grocery Stores:

Curbside Pick-Up at the Store or Arrange Delivery Online:

  • Safeway (www.safeway.com/home Type in your zip code and reserve a delivery time.). Special
    shopping time for seniors is 7-9am on Tuesdays and Thursday.
  • Bel Air (part of Raley’s food chain) 1885 E. Gibson, Woodland
    ( http://shop.raleys.com ). Curbside pick-up available for their pharmacies.
  •  Walmart (grocery.walmart.com Check availability and reserve a time slot.
  •  Westlake Market, 1260 Lake Blvd, Davis, 530-792-1698, desiree.westlake@gmail.com. Will make deliveries to residences near store for $5 charge…on your credit card.

Delivery:

  • Costco 2-Day Delivery (www.costco.com/all-costco-grocery) Free for a minimum $75 order

No Curbside Pick-Up or Delivery:

FYI:

Yolo Food Bank in partnership with the County of Yolo is providing low income seniors and other Yolo residents with underlying health conditions free service to the Food Bank and a weekly home delivery food box.

Individuals who are not low income can contact a for-profit grocery delivery service. Check membership requirements and minimum fees, i.e. Instacart (Save Mart), Amazon Prime, Shipt (Target).

Prepared Food:

A vast selection of local restaurants have Take-Out and Delivery services. Check out online DoorDash.com or GrubHub.com. Restaurants pay to be listed. Hours are posted. Explore foods of every taste.

  • Target is reserving 8:00-9:00 am shopping on Wednesdays for elderly and vulnerable guests. They are delayed in setting up Order Pickup and Drive Up due to high demand.
  • Davis Food Co-op is reserving 8:00-9:00 every day for seniors to shop
  • Many stores are shortening their hours. Check online.  Check on YELP for more specific information
