Children’s Vacation Bible School – Compassion Camp!
Vacation Bible School (VBS) is happening this Summer! All those in pre-k through 5th grade are invited to participate in Illustrated Ministry’s “Compassion Camp: Be Loved. Be Kind. Be You.”
St. Martin’s, the Lutheran Church of the Incarnation, Davis United Methodist, and Davis Community Church are working together to develop an engaging and dynamic Vacation Bible School program for at home/online. There will be a mixture of at home activities, time online, and collaborative art projects. The program seeks to be both really flexible and provide a variety of content that allows for some interaction with other “campers.”
You will be able to pick up a box during certain times throughout the week of July 6th, the box will contain all the materials and supplies for crafts and activities you can do with your families. There are five “sessions”, and you are invited to do them over the course of the five weeks from July 13th – August 10th. But you will also receive five corresponding pre-recorded videos for each of the sessions, so if your family would prefer to go through the material a lot faster you can! During those five weeks we will have a weekly zoom check in to allow “campers” to connect with one another and share about the week’s projects and crafts.
Registration is due by June 30th. Cost will be very minimal ($10 to cover materials and the option to donate more). To register or ask questions, please reach out to Alex (alex@churchofstmartins.org).
