St. Martin’s parishioner Ben Eustis-Guthrie, who is finishing his PhD in Physics at UC Davis, will give a talk after the 10am service entitled “Why Pythagoras Was Right.” In Ben’s words, “The presentation adapts my favorite general education physics lessons about profound connections between music theory, quantum mechanics, and the periodic table. I’ll make connections to history and philosophy and to how our instincts for seeking beauty in the universe are vindicated by science. I’ll continue on with what I believe this means for faith.”
