“Bloom as you Zoom” Workshop on July 15

Intimidated or confused by Zoom?

Think you might like to participate in St. Martin’s Zoom worship services as a reader or leader of Prayers of the People but not sure of yourself in using this technology which is new and somewhat mysterious to many of us?

Do you just think you look “funny” when you see yourself on the screen during Zoom coffee hour?

Believe it, all the clergy and folks who have dared to participate in Zoom services have had those same thoughts and fears!

One of the great things about our Anglican liturgy is the opportunity for many people, lay as well as ordained, to actively participate in the services!

There are a few tips which can make us more comfortable with this medium, reduce our anxieties, plus ways to participate that enhance and deepen the worship experience of those who are the other participants in a Zoom service.

Pamela and Ernie will lead a workshop and discussion to share some of these tips to ease your fears and enhance your participation in the future. This will also be a review of some basics for those of you who are already participating as active members of the Zoom worship team.

We especially encourage those of you who are already readers and leaders of prayers to participate!

We’ll meet (via Zoom, of course!) at 7:00 PDST on Wednesday, July 15. Workshop should conclude by 8:30.

Hope to “see” you there!
