Announcements for the Week of Sunday, March 1, 2026 Music Notes for 10am Service on SundayDuring Lent, we depart in silence from the service rather than hearing a postlude. During this season, Jeffrey will be focusing on the music of Dan Locklair (b. 1949), an American composer widely known for his sacred choral and organ music. His “Arias” for organ are lyrical and song-like, emphasizing expressive melody and gentle harmonic color over virtuosic display. Announcements for the Week of Sunday, February 22, 2026 Fourth Sunday with Pop-Up Choir at 10amThis Sunday at 10am is a Fourth Sunday, meaning the service is more interactive than usual and more accessible to the youngest in our congregation. It’s also the first Sunday in Lent, so we will process around the church during The Great Litany at the beginning of the service. Children and their caregivers are invited to participate in the procession. There is a rehearsal at 9:30 for the Pop-Up Choir, but all are invited to sing, even if they can’t rehearse. Come to the parish hall between services on Sunday for a plentiful, home-cooked pancake breakfast. The breakfast is a fundraiser hosted by the Social Justice & Outreach (SJ&O) Committee with assistance from our youth.
