In this time when we cannot gather in person for Holy Week, it is important that we still honor this most sacred time. This week is the telling and the reflecting upon the core story of the Christian faith.
St. Martin’s has prepared some materials for you to observe and practice this Holy Week in your own home.
The first resource is a video from our Bishop about making an altar in your home.
St. Martin’s has prepared a Triduum “Scavenger Hunt” which invites people to find symbols that represent each of the three days of the Triduum: Maundy Thursday, Good Friday, and Easter Vigil. With each symbol there is a short passage from scripture as well as a prayer or reflection. You can find that resource here:
St Martin’s Triduum Scavenger Hunt
We have also prepared a Maundy Thursday Foot Washing Service for you at home (with much thanks to Rev. Robin Denny’s Triduum Booklet shared by the Diocese):
All of the above materials have been created with Children in mind, and if you would like more materials related specifically to children please take a look at our curated list of resources.
