81st General Convention of the Episcopal Church Elects 28th Presiding Bishop
As noted by Rev. Pamela in her message above, the 81st General Convention of the Episcopal Church elected The Rt. Rev. Sean Rowe, bishop of Northwest Pennsylvania and bishop provisional of Western New York, as the 28th presiding bishop. He was elected on June 26 by the House of Bishops on the first ballot and was confirmed by the House of Deputies with 95% in favor. House of Deputies President Julia Ayala Harris, who was reelected to her position this week, announced the election of Rowe, who will begin a nine-year term on November 1. Rowe will succeed Presiding Bishop Michael Curry and will serve as the chief pastor of The Episcopal Church. For more information, see the Episcopal News Service article HERE.

July Service Schedule Change
On July 7, we will have our regular schedule of Holy Eucharist Rite I at 8am and a First Sunday Holy Eucharist at 10am. For Sundays July 14, 21, and 28, we will only have ONE service at 10am. We will not have an 8am service on these three Sundays. It will be a special July schedule where we have an opportunity to worship all together at one service for three weeks.
