Special Easter Coffee Hour Sign Up to Bring Food and/or Help

Easter Egg Hunt after 10am Service: During coffee hour, we’ll have an Easter Egg hunt for children of all ages. If you can help stuff plastic eggs the week before Easter, hide eggs before the service, or assist during the hunt, please let the church office or Sheri Reynolds know.

Last Chance! Easter Memorial Donations in Memory of or Thanksgiving for Loved Ones
This year’s Easter Memorial donations go to Children’s Formation. Children’s Formation provides funds for Godly Play materials, training for our teachers, and other special projects for children. If you would like to donate in memory of or in thanksgiving for loved ones this Easter, we will list the names of your loved ones in the Easter bulletins. Please write a check to the Church of St. Martin with “Easter Memorial Donation” in the memo line. Or use the GIVE button on our website. In either case, please write the office with the names of those you wish to have noted in the Easter Vigil and Easter Day bulletins. Deadline: Sunday, April 13.

Come to a lunchtime meeting of DIA, a new organization promoting interfaith dialogue and relationship building, on Thursday, April 17, at noon in Room 6/7 at St. Martin’s. The Rev. Portia Hopkins, chaplain at the Belfry, is currently co-facilitating this new group and will be hosting the lunch, which is provided free of charge (freewill offerings accepted). We’re looking for a few more interested parishioners to join us. Contact Pamela (pamela@churchofstmartin.org) for more information.

Sowing Seeds of Hope and Resilience: An Earth Day Gathering with Rev. Pamela
Are you seeking more hope, resilience, and faithful groundedness? Join us for an Earth Day gathering on Zoom on Tuesday, April 22 at 7pm, led by Rev. Pamela, co-chair of the Commission on the Environment. Pamela will help us remember that caring for creation is one of the best ways we can care for our neighbors and for our own soul’s longing for peace, especially in times of anxiety and distress. Pamela is the author of the book Contemplative Gardening and has given presentations on creation care for church gatherings, conferences, and retreats from Missouri to Tanzania.
