The Day of Remembrance annually commemorates the signing of Executive Order 9066, which authorized the federal government to incarcerate over 120,000 Japanese Americans and Japanese immigrants in 1942. A number of organizations in Davis, including St. Martin’s, will mark this anniversary by attending a free showing of two films, “One Fighting Irishman” and “Row Don’t Drift”, at Veterans Memorial Theater in Davis on February 19, 2025 at 6pm. St. John’s Episcopal Church in Roseville will also show One Fighting Irishman on Saturday, March 22, 2025 at 5pm.
